King Maharana Pratap is celebrated as the first native freedom fighter of our nation. The king who fought bravely till last breath for his Motherland. Remembering the great kshatriya warrior of India who sacrificed his life for our Motherland on his 481st Birth Anniversary. He was Born on May 9, 1545. He is remembered for his defiance of Akbar and the bravery of his loyal horse, Chetak. Maharana boldly fought against the Mughal Empire at a time when others had accepted Akbar’s supremacy.

He was on the side of world's secont longest wall of Kumbhalgarh fort.
His height was 7 feet 5 inches. He used to carry 360 kg of weight, which included a spear weighing 80 kg, two swords weighing 208 kg and his armour was around 72 kg heavy. His own weight was more than 110 kg.
Maharana Pratap survived a number of battles in his lifetime, he died of an injury from the hunting accident while tightening the string of a bow with an arrow.
